Remembrance Sunday 11th November 2018 from Paul Saynor

“Where are you parading on the 11th?”

It is 100 years since the end of the 1st World War and it is becoming more important as each year passes that we remember the reasons why Remembrance Day takes place. I shall be joining the Serving members and Veterans parading at Portsmouth Guildhall on Sunday, we meet up in the Guildhall for a cup of tea/coffee before hand at approximately 1000 and I would love to see any member who would like to take part. I appreciate that many of you get involved in the services around the country so why not use this forum to let other people who may be close by and looking to join in.

  1. Give me a shout out here if and where you are attending your Remembrance Service. If you want to join me at the Portsmouth Guildhall please contact me via text or phone on 07749369596. Paul Saynor

  2. Paul – I shall be at the Cenotaph in London, as I am every year. This year will, of course be special, but I will say a little prayer for all of us, especially those recently departed. My best David

  3. Hello Paul – My apologies for being an appalling communicator! I really wanted to attend the Remembrance Parade at the Guildhall with the RNCCA members, but illness precluded it I’m afraid. However, I am determined to attend next year’s event and perhaps we can chat it over at the 2019 Reunion Dinner? Better still, I’ll get my big fat ar.. down to the Rose In June and buy you a pint! I’ll pop down before Christmas and stand a round. Best wishes – Stephen Kerslake
