Peter crossed the bar on Wednesday 25th March. The following was sent by his wife:
“Sadly Peter passed away on Wednesday with his family beside him. We are not able to have a proper funeral at this time just a graveside ceremony on 8th April with just 5 family members. We will however hold a Thanksgiving service for Peter later in the year.”
Peter was known and well liked by many members of our Association. Details of the Thanksgiving service will be published in the members section when known.
It has sadly been reported that S/Lt Fred Sampson crossed the bar on 1st December 2019.
One of our Australian members, Ken crossed the bar on Sunday 9th Feb and his funeral was held at Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park, Perth on 21 Feb. Representatives from the Submarine and Ganges associations attended. Ken was a regular contributor to the RNCCA. His son has kindly sent an Obituary which I have published in the members section.
It has been reported that Ken crossed the bar in October 2019. Looking at his membership number he must have been one of our founding members.

As a founder No. 007 I felt that I should contribute a few words to this Golden Year.
I am now 96 and registered disabled so I will not be able to attend the Annual Reunion etc.
But I wish you all, a weekend you will never forget.
To all Committee Members and the contributors over fifty years I thank you and congratulate you for such a grand
I always look forward to my hard copy magazine not having a computer.
